Volunteer

Coaches and Adult Volunteers are needed NOW for the 2024 Spring High School Rugby Season!

We need former coaches, former players, current adult player and any adult who wants to get involved in rugby to help us immediately!!

High School Volunteers -- This season runs from now until the first week of June

Rugby RI has expanded to four High School clubs:

Bishop Hendricken HS:  This club has a  full complement of coaches, but can always use more parental or alumni involvement

North Kingstown HS:  This is a new club approved by the school district.  It practices at NKHS and needs one more male coach, one female coaches and adult volunteers.  Practices are Tues/Thurs 5pm-6:30pm, and Saturday.

Barrington/Barrington Christian/Portsmouth/St. Mary's Bayview Co-op:  This is a new club started by some enthusiastic students.  It practices at Colt State Park and needs one more male coach, one female coach and adult volunteers.  Practices are Tues/Thurs 4:30pm-6:00pm, and Saturday 10:30am-noon.

EWG Co-op:   This club has a  full complement of coaches, but can always use more parental or alumni involvement

Youth Volunteers -- This season runs from now until the end of July

Rugby RI has expanded to four community clubs:

Island Rugby:  Contact Coach Chris Gray at Island Rugby 

Providence Pirates:  Contact Coach Daniel Mejia-Onat at Providence Youth Rugby 

Ocean State Rugby:  This is a second-year club in North Kingstown.  It practices at Quonset.  Contact Coach Keith Lazarski at OSRugby 

South County Youth Rugby:   This is a new club started in Chariho.  Contact Coach Alex Macleod at Rhody Reds
